Mt. Rainier Camping at Its Best

Mounthaven Resort in Ashford is a great choice for a memorable Mt. Rainier camping experience. Located just 1/2 mile from the Nisqually (SW) entrance to the Mount Rainier National Park, camping options at our resort include full hookup RV sites, tent sites, and two recently constructed camping cabins. Our camping options are located on the perimeter of the property shaded by large cedars with forest or creek as a boundary.

Resort Policies for Mt. Rainier Camping

Well behaved dogs are allowed with camping guests, there is a $3 nightly pet fee per dog. Dogs must be leashed at all times and cleaned up after. Out of respect for other guests, dogs prone to barking are not allowed. Check in time 12:30pm to 8:00pm or dark. Campground arrivals will not be allowed to check in after 9 pm. Out of respect for our other guests, there are no exceptions to this policy. Quiet time is 10 pm to 8 am. Check out time is noon.

We can accommodate rigs up to 38 feet long.

Mounthaven has been rated and inspected by Woodalls, Trailer Life, and numerous tour guides and publications.

A 3-5 night minimum stay may be required during the summer season, holidays, or on weekends.

RV Sites

SORRY, BUT WE DO NOT CURRENTLY PROCESS RESERVATIONS FOR RV SITES ONLINE. PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL FOR AVAIABILITY Heavily forested RV sites make for a camping experience you will not soon forget. Our full hookup RV sites have 30 amp electric service, as well as water and sewer connections. All RV sites have a picnic table and a fire ring. Our RV sites are located on the perimeter of the property and are shaded by large cedars with forest or creek as boundaries. All RV sites are back-in only. Rates shown are for up to 4 people, additional guests are $3 each. Max occupancy is 6 guests per RV site. Only one unit allowed per site. This includes camper vans. Tents are not allowed on any RV site. Rates: $94.00 per night, plus tax. (a 3-5 night minimum stay may be required during the summer season)

Willow Cabin

Our camping cabins that take camping to the next level. Stay warm and dry in these heated rustic cabins that are located within easy distance to our restroom and laundry facilities. Camping cabins have one full and one twin bunks, but linens are not provided. Bring your own sleeping bags or bed rolls for a quick and easy camping experience. Camping cabins have a picnic table, fire ring, and access to a BBQ Grill (charcoal not provided). Cooking is prohibited inside of camping cabins. Sorry, pets are not allowed. Rates shown are for up to 3 guests. Bedding/towels available for rent for an additional fee ($15 nightly). Sorry, no pets allowed. Bedrooms: 1 | Max Occupancy: 3

Tenting Sites

Primitive tent sites nested in a grove of magnificent cedars. All tent spaces have picnic tables and fire pits and are a short walk to our Shower Building. No electric or sewer connections available. Rates: $55 per tent, up to 4 guests. Additional guests $3 nightly.
